If you are receiving repayment emails but never received a loan check, email MDshutdownloan@submittable.com or call (410) 849-6424 (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. EST) to inform us that you did not receive your loan payment and would like to have your loan check canceled. The Maryland Department of Labor will then confirm that the check has not been cashed and will initiate a stop payment. Once this process is complete, Maryland Department of Labor can proceed with removing the loan balance from your account (with the loan considered closed).
