What should I do if I received my check for the loan but I no longer want the loan because I have received back pay for the shutdown period?

You may return the uncashed check to MD Labor with a note that indicates you no longer want the loan. Once MD Labor confirms with the Office of the State Treasurer that the check has not been cashed, MD Labor will record the loan as paid in Submittable. Send your uncashed check to the following address:
